I believe he's talking about his GF JUST got out of a relationship, and she's going out with him, just so she "has" someone. Get what I'm saying? Some people feel the need to always have, or be in a relationship.

Yeah. Rebounds don't work well. There usually isn't any love there to begin with.

i'll try my best as she doesn't know very much english and my japanese isn't very good. Ironically enough she sits next to me in english.

First off, you never want to start something on-the-rebound. It's like touching the burner of the stove. It may be turned off but it is still hot and you'll just crash and burn. I recomend that you wait 2 weeks and then start fresh. Plus, it gives everyone a chance to breathe some fresh air and rekindle your thoughts. Peace and good luck.
